We regret to inform you that, after being proud to be a part of Quadra Village & the local arts community for 6+ yrs, Gigi’s Cafe has been evicted by Pemberton Holmes property management
due to upstairs neighbours' sound concerns. :(
We wish to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for sharing this beautiful community with us over the years!
It has been such a pleasure to know you

Our Writers' Open Mic has found a new home & will continue on! Thank you Will & Michael for your efforts to make this happen! Every first Thursday of the month, from 6:10-9:00pm, please come out to Camas Books & Infoshop at 2620 Quadra Street, just a half block away from where we were at Gigi's & share your original writings/ support local writers by being a great audience!

Located in Quadra Village, Gigi’s Cafe is a Victoria BC coffee shop that enjoys welcoming regular customers and new faces alike. Whether you’re a student looking for a place to study, a local resident or worker, or even an artist (see below) or local musician or writer who would like to take advantage of the space we provide, we’d love to meet you or hear from you!
Info for local artists and supporters! We have a bookshelf in the back of our shop for locally made mugs, stickers, books, jewelry and more! Check out the cool resin coaster sets and funky mugs by Ayan, pictured on the right, as an example! We also have some wall space we keep available to local artists who’d like to display and sell their framed work. Contact us with info on your work and to learn more about our flexible guidelines.
We’re also a small event venue. Check out our Events page to see what’s on next. We offer affordable rates to book an event, too!
And we gotta give a shout out to the zero-waste initiative The Nulla Project! We sell their reusable cups for $5. Fill ‘er up at Gigi’s, enjoy, then take it to one of Nulla’s other partner businesses (or bring it back here), where they’ll exchange it for a sanitized cup. No waste, no hassle!
